Indulgent Snow Foam
A dense foam blanket that covers and softens traffic film, road grime and insect residue before contact washing. Rinses off freely to leave no residue.
How to use snow foam.
Thick foam is mostly equipment. The bottle sets the ratio, and after that it is your pressure washer, your lance, the pickup setting and the water coming out of your tap.
Set up before filling the lance
- Check the lance actually fits your pressure washer and is assembled the way its instructions say.
- Start with a clean lance bottle and fresh water. Whatever was in there last is still in there.
- Read the FOAM label, then choose its lance method in the dilution calculator.
- Cool car, in the shade, and enough water to rinse the lot off before any of it dries.
The FOAM application method
- Dilute as required in Foam Lance.
- Apply to a cool vehicle from the bottom upwards.
- Allow to dwell for 3–5 minutes.
- Do not allow product to dry.
- Rinse thoroughly using a pressure washer.
- Follow with a contact wash using WDT SUDZ Shampoo if required.
Bottle ratio and panel concentration
The calculator works out what goes in the bottle. The pressure washer then adds its own water on top of that, so what reaches a panel is weaker than what you mixed, by an amount that depends on the lance's pickup rate.
A bottle ratio is therefore not a panel ratio, and the two cannot be compared directly. If your lance documents a pickup rate, use it to work out the difference. Do not copy a ratio off another brand's bottle either: it was written for their concentrate, not this one.
Troubleshoot one variable at a time
| What you notice | What to check |

| Thin or inconsistent foam | The mix, the pickup setting, the connections and the water supply, before you reach for more concentrate. A partly blocked lance is the usual answer. |
| Foam dries too quickly | Panel temperature, sun and wind. Work smaller areas and rinse sooner rather than leaving it on longer. |
| Dirt remains after rinsing | Foam lifts what foam can lift. What is left is the contact wash's job, not another round of foam. |
| Residue after rinsing | Usually too much product, patchy coverage or a rinse that stopped early. Keep to the dose and do not let it dry on the car. |
